Karunaratne is Sanskrit for Kind - Sun. It wasn't until recently when my dad told me this, that I found a deeper love for my last name. Kindness is one of those things that just keeps on giving -- it just makes the world a brighter place. Each day I start my morning with a gratitude meditation and tune into my compassion for myself and others. This instantly brightens my mood - it's almost like creating my own sunny day!
My intention with all of my clients is to cultivate this sunshine within them so that we can go out into the world and share our unique light with those around us, making everyone shine brighter and feel happier + healthier!
Born and raised in LA, sunshine is my favorite state of being! And I wholeheartedly believe that you can radiate your most aligned self through mindful movement and daily practices that feel good to YOU.
We are entirely up to ourselves and the biggest transformations come from small, consistent daily actions. Regardless of how you started or where you are right now, you have the power to change your life.
When I’m not on my mat, you can find me creating fun and easy recipes, reading from my ever-growing collection of self-dev books, and catching the sunset with my extra large goldendoodle named Tuck @tuckthepuff on IG!
